Shane is a great communicator with a contagious zest for life and warm sense of humour. He has a unique ability to relate and connect with people of all ages and backgrounds. Shane is passionate about seeing the local church flourish and is committed to leadership development and facilitating people being released into their purpose and calling.
Under his visionary and relational style of leadership, Enjoy Church has grown significantly over the past 20+ years. From humble beginnings of 40 people, to now a multi-site church across Australia, Japan and Cambodia, with over 6000 people and over 100 nationalities represented.
Shane served as part of the National Executive for Australian Christian Churches (ACC) for 12 years and also as State President for ACC Victoria for 10 years. He continues to host the annual ACC Victoria State Men’s Conference, Covenant.
Shane and his wife, Georgie, have been married for over 30 years, and have two beautiful daughters together, one ‘son-of-choice’, and two delightful granddaughters.
